DavidW says, "I think Land of Breakfast should be short."
Roger goes home. | ||
Roger has disconnected.
Knight_Otu says (to ClubFloyd), "quit"
Floyd | > Floyd | > QUIT Floyd | cheapglulxe quit with exit status: 0
CF asks, "That game over already? It was just getting good. Wanna play another?" | Knight_Otu says, "Sounds good to me."
Knight_Otu says (to Floyd), "load sleepmask landofbreakfast"
Floyd ] The Path Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | Some would say that life is like a box of metaphors. I would not Floyd | say Floyd | that. I would say life is a land of metaphors. You come to this Floyd | land Floyd | perhaps from a hidden door in the back of a piece of furniture, Floyd | perhaps from a door in a dream. Either way, you find yourself Floyd | here. Floyd | Floyd | The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | ~ a land can contain both ~ by Daniel Talsky & Rabbit, Rabbit Floyd | Release 12 / Serial number 200329 / Inform 7 build 6M62 (I6/v6.34 Floyd | lib Floyd | 6/12N) Floyd | Floyd | The Path Floyd | You are at the beginning of a path. It is plain, even homely. It Floyd | leads forward towards The Land of Breakfast and Lunch. If you Floyd | "walk Floyd | forward" you will follow the path. Floyd | Floyd | > | DavidW says, "It can tell me all about the eggs I haven't been eating."
Knight_Otu asks, "Anyone else want to drive?"
Jacqueline says, "Oh huh. Daniel Talsky."
DavidW says, "I can drive"
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x me"
Floyd ] The Path Floyd | > Floyd | > X ME Floyd | Floyd | You are a fictional character who looks very much like the Floyd | non-fictional you looks. Almost exactly, in fact, except the Floyd | non-fictional you is slightly more attractive, and the fictional Floyd | you Floyd | is a slightly better speller. Floyd | Floyd | > | Jacqueline says, "Thanks. I am *still* picking slowly at my muffin."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "i"
Floyd ] The Path Floyd | > Floyd | > I Floyd | Floyd | You examine what you'd normally use to carry things, all the way Floyd | from Floyd | fingertip to elbow. As you suspected, nothing is contained there. Floyd | You briefly check for pockets or some kind of fanny pack. There Floyd | isn't Floyd | anything like that. You are forced to conclude that you have no Floyd | possessions. Floyd | Floyd | > | DavidW says, "Longest way to say 'you got nuthin'.'"
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "walk forward"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > WALK FORWARD Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | The Land of Breakfast and Lunch is a lot smaller than you were Floyd | expecting. It's actually just a small clearing near the road, like Floyd | a Floyd | roadside stop, with a painted picnic table containing a simple but Floyd | nourishing breakfast on one end, and a simple but nourishing lunch Floyd | on Floyd | the other end. A stubby little path leads backwards, and the path Floyd | continues forward, towards The Land of Unrealized Possibilities. Floyd | If Floyd | you "walk forward" or just "forward" or even just "f" you will be Floyd | walking towards it. Floyd | Floyd | You can see a painted picnic table (on which are Breakfast and Floyd | Lunch) Floyd | here. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x table"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X TABLE Floyd | Floyd | It's a well-maintained picnic table painted in a bright, childish, Floyd | civic style, depicting a crude sun with huge yellow beams bathing Floyd | jagged pine trees in their light. Floyd | Floyd | On the painted picnic table are Breakfast and Lunch. Floyd | Floyd | >
Roger has arrived. | ||
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x sun"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X SUN Floyd | Floyd | The sun is a simple yellow circle. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x trees"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X TREES Floyd | Floyd | The pine trees are just a brown rectangle topped with a jagged Floyd | green Floyd | pine tree shape. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x breakfast"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X BREAKFAST Floyd | Floyd | (Breakfast) Floyd | Breakfast consists of a halved grapefruit with the membranes cut Floyd | for Floyd | easier eating, a soft-boiled egg in a specially designed holder, Floyd | and a Floyd | bowl of Lieutenant Chomp with a small pitcher of milk next to it. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x grapefruit"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X GRAPEFRUIT Floyd | Floyd | It's a traditional grapefruit. It's not one of the slightly Floyd | sweeter Floyd | red varieties, and it's not an exotic pomelo. It looks as if a Floyd | very Floyd | thin sprinkling of sugar has been applied. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "taste it"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > TASTE IT Floyd | Floyd | Breakfast is kind of an all-or-nothing affair. One really needs to Floyd | sit down and tuck into it, rather than simply nibbling at one thing Floyd | or Floyd | another and leaving the rest of it to repel and disgust another Floyd | traveller. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu says, "Interesting breakfast."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x egg"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X EGG Floyd | Floyd | The soft-boiled egg is a prim and underappreciated breakfast item. Floyd | Sure, it's a lot of work to get to every bit of the egg, but it's a Floyd | very delicate experience. You would take the nearby small spoon Floyd | and Floyd | gently crack the top of the egg off, exposing the soft and rich Floyd | partially-cooked egg inside. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x spoon"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X SPOON Floyd | Floyd | The soft-boiled egg is a prim and underappreciated breakfast item.
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x cereal"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X CEREAL Floyd | Floyd | It looks like a bowl filled with the famous cereal known as Floyd | Lieutenant Floyd | Chomp. You grew up seeing the commercials and can almost see the Floyd | picture of the Lieutenant on the box in your mind's eye. You know Floyd | from experience that if you pour the milk too soon before you eat, Floyd | the Floyd | cereal will lacerate the roof of your mouth. If you wait too long: Floyd | sugary mush. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x milk"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X MILK Floyd | Floyd | It's a simple, white pitcher of milk, like you'd find in a diner. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "remember chomp"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > REMEMBER CHOMP Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "sing"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SING Floyd | Floyd | I'm not sure what you like to sing in a private moment. Maybe it's Floyd | Beyonc, maybe it's a little Sinatra, maybe it's Neutral Milk Floyd | Hotel, Floyd | and maybe it's the worms song. You sing it, whatever it is, and Floyd | you Floyd | feel slightly better. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "eat breakfast"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > EAT BREAKFAST Floyd | Floyd | (Breakfast) Floyd | You sit down for a moment and eat breakfast. It is delicious but Floyd | you Floyd | still don't quite feel satisfied. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x lunch"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X LUNCH Floyd | Floyd | (Lunch) Floyd | Lunch is made up of a grilled cheese sandwich, a bowl of tomato Floyd | soup, Floyd | a small tray of antipasto, and a ramekin filled with a very Floyd | enticing Floyd | potato salad. Floyd | Floyd | > | Roger says, "eat the sun"
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "eat sun"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > EAT SUN Floyd | Floyd | That's plainly inedible. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "lick sun"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > LICK SUN Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | > | Roger says, "well, I can't argue with that."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x sandwich"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X SANDWICH Floyd | Floyd | It's a grilled cheese sandwich in the classic sense, in that Floyd | there's Floyd | nothing in it but cheese. The sandwich has been cut in half Floyd | diagonally and the tiniest bit of cheese has oozed out towards the Floyd | table. It looks like a combination of cheeses. The bread is Floyd | toasted Floyd | to a perfect golden brown and glistens with its thin layer of Floyd | butter. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu says, "Also, might still be a bit hot."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "touch sandwich"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > TOUCH SANDWICH Floyd | Floyd | You feel nothing unexpected. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x soup"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X SOUP Floyd | Floyd | Warm, creamy, and comforting, and about two thirds the way to Floyd | filling Floyd | a fiestaware bowl. There is a bit of coarsely cracked pepper at Floyd | the Floyd | top. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x pepper"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X PEPPER Floyd | Floyd | Warm, creamy, and comforting, and about two thirds the way to Floyd | filling Floyd | a fiestaware bowl. There is a bit of coarsely cracked pepper at Floyd | the Floyd | top. Floyd | Floyd | > | Jacqueline says, "I like pepper."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x plate"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X PLATE Floyd | Floyd | You can't see any such thing. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x salad"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X SALAD Floyd | Floyd | It looks like a well-made potato salad, filled with richness and Floyd | zing. Floyd | You can see flecks of red onion and a light dusting of paprika. In Floyd | case you don't know what a ramekin is, it's a small straight-walled Floyd | bowl with scalloped outside walls. Perfect for an attractive Floyd | presentation of a small potato salad serving. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x fork"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X FORK Floyd | Floyd | You can't see any such thing. Floyd | Floyd | > | Jacqueline says, "That's the only helpful thing I can think of to say right now is to tell you how very much I love pepper."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell lunch"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SMELL LUNCH Floyd | Floyd | (Lunch) Floyd | It smells pretty nice, the individual lunch items each have their Floyd | own Floyd | smell. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell sandwich"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SMELL SANDWICH Floyd | Floyd | You mostly smell butter, but perhaps a hint of cheddar. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell soup"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SMELL SOUP Floyd | Floyd | You mostly smell the pepper, but with a warm tomato-ey bottom note. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell salad"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SMELL SALAD Floyd | Floyd | Smells like smoked paprika and mustard. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "eat lunch"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > EAT LUNCH Floyd | Floyd | (Lunch) Floyd | Lunch was wonderful. Your stomach feels like a puzzle, where the Floyd | final piece has finally been snapped into place. You now feel as Floyd | if Floyd | you could take on the world. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "burp"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > BURP Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "pat stomach"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > PAT STOMACH Floyd | Floyd | You can't see any such thing. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu says, "Now, now."
Jacqueline says, "Aw."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "stand"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > STAND Floyd | Floyd | But you aren't in anything at the moment. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "l"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > L Floyd | Floyd | The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | The Land of Breakfast and Lunch is a lot smaller than you were Floyd | expecting. It's actually just a small clearing near the road, like Floyd | a Floyd | roadside stop, with a painted picnic table containing the empty Floyd | dishes Floyd | from a simple but nourishing breakfast on one end, and the dishes Floyd | of a Floyd | simple but nourishing lunch on the other end. A stubby little path Floyd | leads backwards, and the path continues forward, towards The Land Floyd | of Floyd | Unrealized Possibilities. If you "walk forward" or just "forward" Floyd | or Floyd | even just "f" you will be walking towards it. Floyd | Floyd | You can see a painted picnic table here. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x dishes"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X DISHES Floyd | Floyd | Which do you mean, the breakfast dishes or the lunch dishes? Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "breakfast"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > BREAKFAST Floyd | Floyd | You've politely stacked the breakfast dishes, so the table doesn't Floyd | look too messy. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x lunch dishes"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X LUNCH DISHES Floyd | Floyd | You've politely stacked the lunch dishes, so the table doesn't look Floyd | too messy. Floyd | Floyd | >
Knight_Otu says (to ClubFloyd), "clean dishes"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "wash lunch dishes"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > WASH LUNCH DISHES Floyd | Floyd | You can't see any such thing. Floyd | Floyd | > | jenrexrode says, "I thought eating the son was last Sunday."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "clean breakfast"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "clean lunch"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "stand on table"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > STAND ON TABLE Floyd | Floyd | Now that's just rude. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "look under table"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > LOOK UNDER TABLE Floyd | Floyd | The grass underneath is getting a bit brown. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x grass"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > X GRASS Floyd | Floyd | It's grassy. And brownish. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "water grass"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > WATER GRASS Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell grass"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > SMELL GRASS Floyd | Floyd | You smell nothing unexpected. Floyd | Floyd | Then again, you don't have the best sense of smell. Maybe if you Floyd | smell specific things it will be easier to discern a smell.
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "take table"
Floyd ] The Land of Breakfast and Lunch Floyd | > Floyd | > TAKE TABLE Floyd | Floyd | That's fixed in place. Floyd | Floyd | > | DavidW asks, "forward or back?"
Knight_Otu says, "And just last game I claimed smelling specific things is rare."
Knight_Otu says, "I think forward."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "f"
Floyd ] Hopeful Path Floyd | > Floyd | > F Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | Hopeful Path Floyd | You are on the hopeful path. Backwards from here is The Land of Floyd | Breakfast and Lunch. Forward is The Land of Unrealized Floyd | Possibilities. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x path"
Floyd ] Hopeful Path Floyd | > Floyd | > X PATH Floyd | Floyd | It's a simple, foot-trod path that connects The Land of Breakfast Floyd | and Floyd | Lunch and The Land of Unrealized Possibilities. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "sideways"
Floyd ] Hopeful Path Floyd | > Floyd | > SIDEWAYS Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "jump"
Floyd ] Hopeful Path Floyd | > Floyd | > JUMP Floyd | Floyd | Ok, this is weird, but for some reason, jumping doesn't appear to Floyd | work Floyd | here. You bend your knees and then shove away from the earth with Floyd | a Floyd | snap like you're used to, but your feet don't leave the ground. Floyd | It's Floyd | a little disconcerting, sure, but it doesn't really change your Floyd | life. Floyd | Floyd | >
Knight_Otu says (to ClubFloyd), "dance"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "spin"
Floyd ] Hopeful Path Floyd | > Floyd | > SPIN Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "f"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > F Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | You are in the Land of Unrealized Possibilities. Just being here Floyd | gives you a sense of all that could be accomplished if enough time, Floyd | effort, and focus were pointed in a specific direction. There is a Floyd | sense of both excitement and disappointment here that is almost Floyd | palpable. The Hopeful Path leads backward towards The Land of Floyd | Breakfast and Lunch, a place with a much clearer sense of purpose. Floyd | The Seaside Path leads forward, towards The Land of Unlaunched Floyd | Vessels. Floyd | Floyd | You can see a toy box (closed), a couch (on which is your brother), Floyd | and a TV here. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x brother"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X BROTHER Floyd | Floyd | Your brother is a lean masterpiece of laziness and force. He is Floyd | devoted to his wasting of time right now and has himself wedged Floyd | into Floyd | the couch like a part of it. He is watching TV, and frequently Floyd | changing the channel. Floyd | Floyd | > | Jacqueline says, "I wonder if jumping, but with your feet glued to the ground, would help stretch your back. Y'know, like put some brief traction on your sping."
Jacqueline says, "spine, even"
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x couch"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X COUCH Floyd | Floyd | This is the blue corduroy couch of your youth. You have rolled Floyd | over Floyd | on it many times and sat up to read its wrinkled poem on your arm. Floyd | Why would anyone get a corduroy couch? Floyd | Floyd | On the couch is your brother. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x tv"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X TV Floyd | Floyd | An early 35" flatscreen. Bulky, black, and plastic. It lived in Floyd | your Floyd | den for way too long, just because no one wanted to lift it. It's Floyd | odd Floyd | to see it here, in The Land of Unrealized Possibilities. It is Floyd | showing "Survival Hoarders" on channel 43. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "ask brother about tv"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > ASK BROTHER ABOUT TV Floyd | Floyd | "It's a TV, just look at it yourself." Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x toy box"

Floyd | Floyd | > | ||
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "smell brother"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x block"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X BLOCK Floyd | Floyd | It is a simple block made out of wood. It is an unpainted cube, Floyd | with Floyd | very slightly rounded corners. It's the kind of thing you would Floyd | find Floyd | at a Montessori school, usually in the company of many of its Floyd | compatriots. This one is alone. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x doll"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X DOLL Floyd | Floyd | The face of the skinny plastic doll is forever frozen in an Floyd | expression Floyd | of bored self-satisfaction. Its long naked arms and legs bend and Floyd | articulate, but not much. Its breasts are idealized, yet awkwardly Floyd | shaped, like rounded pyramids. It has nylon synthetic hair that Floyd | cascades stiffly around its shoulders. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "comb hair"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > COMB HAIR Floyd | Floyd | That's not a verb I recognize. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "look in box"

Floyd | Floyd | > | ||
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x book"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X BOOK Floyd | Floyd | The title of the coloring book reads "Horse Party!" Inside are Floyd | drawings of horses in pastoral settings, but with festive party Floyd | hats. Floyd | They are doing no discernible celebrating. Seems a little Floyd | demented, Floyd | really. A couple of the pictures are colored neatly, and one is Floyd | very Floyd | carefully colored, as if by an adult. The last page is black with Floyd | some Floyd | kind of glow-in-the-dark ink. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x last page"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X LAST PAGE Floyd | Floyd | The last page is printed on black construction paper, in some kind Floyd | of barely visible ink. It looks like it must be some kind of weird Floyd | glow-in-the-dark ink. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "take last page"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > TAKE LAST PAGE Floyd | Floyd | You carefully tear the last page out. It's actually perforated, so Floyd | you don't feel so bad. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "take block"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > TAKE BLOCK Floyd | Floyd | Taken. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu says, "Huh."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x lite-brite"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X LITE-BRITE Floyd | Floyd | You're looking at a white plastic case with a black plastic Floyd | pegboard Floyd | covering one side. Attached to the back is a black power cord. Floyd | It's Floyd | got a little lightbulb inside, and usually comes with sheets of Floyd | black Floyd | construction paper to affix to the pegboard. Usually comes with Floyd | dozens of transparent, colored pegs too. If you had them, you'd Floyd | push Floyd | the pegs into the pegboard to make little light-up pictures. You Floyd | don't Floyd | see any of that stuff though. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "put page on lite-brite"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > PUT PAGE ON LITE-BRITE Floyd | Floyd | Putting things on the lite-brite would achieve nothing. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "put page in lite-brite"

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x box"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X BOX Floyd | Floyd | (the toy box) Floyd | It is a large simple wooden toy box stained with a nice Floyd | hand-painted Floyd | varnish. It has a hinged lid on top. Floyd | Floyd | In the toy box are a skinny naked plastic doll, a closed Floyd | jack-in-the-box, a lite-brite, a coloring book, a small heart Floyd | shaped Floyd | locket, and a small hobby horse. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x locket"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X LOCKET Floyd | Floyd | It is a small pewter locket. It looks a bit old fashioned. It has Floyd | a Floyd | small clasp on the side and looks like you could easily open it. Floyd | Floyd | >

DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x picture"
Floyd ] The Land of Unrealized Possibilities Floyd | > Floyd | > X PICTURE Floyd | Floyd | You don't remember ever seeing any picture of you like this photo, Floyd | but Floyd | this one looks almost exactly like other pictures of you at about Floyd | three. There is a smile that's a mix of sadness and joy on the Floyd | child's face. When you look at it, you can almost feel the Floyd | feeling. Floyd | Floyd | >

Floyd ] Chrysocolla Cluster Floyd | > Floyd | > TURN CRANK Floyd | Floyd | You grasp the little wooden ball and begin to turn the crank as you Floyd | hold the jack-in-the-box steady. A dark little tune plinks its way Floyd | out, echoing forth from the little tin box. It's not "all around Floyd | the Floyd | mulberry bush" or any song you recognize, so you don't quite expect Floyd | it Floyd | when its last note ends, and the spring-loaded doll within leaps Floyd | out Floyd | with surprising agility. You jump a tiny bit, in spite of Floyd | yourself. Floyd | The devil doll looks pleased. Floyd | Floyd | The simian businessperson's eyes whip suddenly to the face of the Floyd | devil doll. Its eyes widen and turn shockingly pale blue in a Floyd | clearly Floyd | recognizable look of total terror. Their fingers whip forward Floyd | towards Floyd | you involuntarily, and you suddenly feel whatever they were holding Floyd | in Floyd | the palm of your own hand. It is a shiny 1964 quarter. The Floyd | businessperson looks briefly dismayed but merely pulls something Floyd | else Floyd | out of its pocket. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu says, "My."
DavidW says, "And we have a quarter."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "x quarter"
Floyd ] Chrysocolla Cluster Floyd | > Floyd | > X QUARTER Floyd | Floyd | Before 1964, quarters were made almost entirely of silver, so the Floyd | shine of this mint-condition coin is brilliant. It is otherwise Floyd | like Floyd | a U.S. quarter dollar piece in general, with the date, 1964, and a Floyd | small letter "D", representing the Denver Mint, stamped into its Floyd | surface. Floyd | Floyd | > | Knight_Otu asks, "Also, how did get the quarter into the rocket?"

At the end of the rocket's soft whoosh, its mighty Floyd | engines begin to engage, slowing its fall as it pillows down to the Floyd | landing pad in The Land of Thoroughly-Launched Vessels. Floyd | Floyd | The Inside of the Parked Rocket Floyd | You are within the smooth walls of the rocket. Floyd ] The Land in Front of the Liquor Store Floyd | > Floyd | > F Floyd | Floyd | Floyd | The Land in Front of the Liquor Store Floyd | The Land in Front of the Liquor Store looks mostly abandoned, and Floyd | you Floyd | feel a slight sense of disappointment and dread here. The liquor Floyd | store is closed, looks like permanently, and there's just a weird Floyd | kiddie ride here. There are marks on the sidewalk where some other Floyd | metal vending machines were, but it looks like they've been carted Floyd | away. Only the kiddie ride remains. It's pretty depressing here, Floyd | but Floyd | if you continue to go forward, the Idyllic Path leads to The Land Floyd | of Floyd | Puppy Cardiovascular health, which is the superior place. Floyd | Floyd | You can see a lite-brite (in which is a last page from the coloring Floyd | book, black, and printed with some kind of glow-in-the-dark ink) Floyd | and a Floyd | kiddie ride here. The song is "In my merry Floyd | Oldsmobile" and the dance of the humvee is drunken yet tame as it Floyd | rolls and lists in a pattern potentially thrilling to a 3-year old Floyd | but Floyd | usually not really. If you want to, you can ride the humvee now. Floyd | Floyd | >
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "ride humvee"
Floyd ] The Land in Front of the Liquor Store Floyd | > Floyd | > RIDE HUMVEE Floyd | Floyd | You climb up on the molded fiberglass seat of the humvee like a pro Floyd | and right yourself against its tame rollicking. At first you find Floyd | it Floyd | boring, but you quickly get in the spirit, facetiously adjusting Floyd | your Floyd | imaginary cowboy hat and making a quick lasso motion with your Floyd | wrist Floyd | to show the yellow humvee you're in full control, despite its Floyd | raucous Floyd | bucking. Floyd | Floyd | If this was what you were trying to do, you pretty much won the Floyd | game, Floyd | but c'mon, you entered this fictional world with all its richness Floyd | and Floyd | descriptions of antipasto and space locations and all you wanted to Floyd | do Floyd | is solve its one puzzle? It's a mood piece, man! You're just Floyd | supposed to be relaxed and soak up the sweet, sweet ambience. That Floyd | said, none of my beta testers actually got the puzzle on their own. Floyd | I Floyd | didn't think it was that hard since if you trigger the Floyd | jack-in-the-box Floyd | in the room you find it in, it freaks your brother out, so I felt Floyd | like Floyd | that was a big clue, but I do have a lot of worthless items / red Floyd | herrings. What was I talking about? I dunno, good job though. I Floyd | personally suck at puzzles in games so I doubt I would have been Floyd | able Floyd | to figure it out myself. Floyd | Floyd | Ok. I'll admit it. There might be one even harder puzzle. Floyd | Floyd | > | DavidW says, "It's five o'clock here and I'm out of ideas."
