#ClubFloyd Discussion
|
|
Roger says, "Tundra is a good an idea as any, is where I'm at."
Roger says, "Might not be suited for summertime play but oh wells"
DavidW asks, "The one I uploaded a week or two ago and totally forgot about?"
Knight_Otu says, "I mean, we played Mrs Claus in spring/summer as well."
DavidW says (to ClubFloyd), "load sleepmask tundra"

CF | | ||
CF | | ||
CF | Terence squinted weakly at young Matthew, kneeling at his bedside.
CF | "Our village is in grave danger, boy. The evil wizard from the north
CF | has summoned a great dragon, who even now threatens our very
CF | existence. You are our only remaining hope."
CF | | ||
CF | Matthew paused for a long moment, then softly spoke. "But what can I
CF | do, wise one? I am but a puny champion to send against one so mighty.
CF | And I must stay here and help to care for you."
CF | | ||
CF | "There are more than enough villagers to take care of me, Matthew.
CF | Someone must take care of this wizard..."
CF | | ||
CF | But before he could finish, there was a blinding flash of light, a
CF | resounding thunderclap, and suddenly all was darkness.
CF | | ||
CF | | ||
CF | [Please press SPACE to begin.] | Knight_Otu exclaims, "The chosen kid!"
MoyTravis says, "Hey, past tense. I wonder if it's all past tense, or just the intro."
DavidW says, "Dragons. Why did it have to be dragons."
Roger says, "But thou must"
DavidW pushes the green 'space' button.

CF | | ||
CF | | ||
CF | Moving from room to room in most text games is a simple matter of
CF | choosing a direction, for instance GO SOUTHEAST. This can be
CF | abbreviated to SE. As well as the compass directions, UP and DOWN are
CF | available. You may also want to ENTER or FOLLOW an object.
CF | | ||
CF | Sometimes you will see things you can climb onto or down from. Try
CF | CLIMB LADDER for instance, or JUMP ON HORSE, or JUMP OFF BED. EXIT and
CF | ENTER may work just as well, or GET ON and GET OFF. Mostly these
CF | actions will have the same effect, but sometimes they may not- be
CF | aware. | ||
CF | | ||
CF | [Please press SPACE.] | DavidW says, "JUMP ON HORSE. HOP ON POP."

CF | immediately crashed into his shield.
CF | | ||
CF | A fine mess. | ||
CF | | ||
CF | A near white wolf hobbles sadly towards you through the storm, pausing
