CF | evidence among the treasures - smashed glass and a destroyed display
CF | case - but how does it all fit together?

CF | All around you are the relics of the Meighsalot royal family -

CF | famous headdress of Queen Camellia the First. But what draws your eye
CF | most is the smashed glass lying around everywhere, and the empty,
CF | destroyed display case in the center that used to contain the Crown
CF | Jewels!

CF | standing around, on the job. He looks about self-importantly.

CF | those are the favorite snack of smashy llamas... it must be a clue!

CF | used to rest. Leaning closer, you notice a faint, unusual smell. What

CF | "Erfrm umlrmer ruffians," says the police commissioner. "Frermmrm..."

CF | The pervasive coconut smell seems to be emanating from a smudge of
CF | whitish cream in one corner! It looks like suntan lotion... and that
CF | could only mean that the llamas came from someplace sunny!

CF | Suddenly all the pieces fall into place! It MUST have been the smashy
CF | llamas, and they OBVIOUSLY fled to the nearby tropical island! Before
CF | Mumblebumble can look up, you've donned your cape in a flash and flown
CF | off to confront the evil thieves!

CF | You fly for several minutes, buffeted back and forth by the wind. You
CF | finally catch sight of the island. It looks like a tropical paradise -
CF | the sun is shining and the turquoise waters are gently rippling. A
CF | jungle seems to take up most of the interior of the island.

CF | You swoop in for a landing, but the wind knocks you off course and you
CF | run into a coconut tree! Once you get over your momentary
CF | disorientation, you notice that a coconut has fallen off of it.
CF |
CF | You know that the llamas are here somewhere. Now you'll have to sneak
CF | around and see what they're up to.

CF | Beach
CF | The brilliant turquoise waters sparkle, the distant seagulls squawk,
CF | the palm and coconut trees sway in the light breeze, and the sun
CF | shines down with warmth - a wonderful vacation destination, if it
CF | weren't for your pressing mission. A dense, lush jungle lies to the
CF | north, but a dark path cuts into it. A solitary coconut tree is
CF | standing upright by the shoreline.

CF | A coconut, apparently knocked off the tree during your crash landing,
CF | is lying in the sand.

DavidW says, "I'm not sure I've even touched a whole coconut. I have seen them in person, but a very long time ago."
DavidW says, "I wasn't really paying attention. All my coconut knowledge is suspect: from IF and Gilligan's Island."
Knight_Otu says, "Of course, this is ponyworld. They can have all the brown coconuts growing in trees that they want."

CF | You cautiously proceed up the path, treading as lightly as you can
CF | upon the carpet of soil.

CF | This winding, dark path cuts through the jungle. Occasional sunbeams
CF | filter through the canopy, and strange animal noises ring out from all
CF | directions. The path proceeds to the north and returns to the beach
CF | back to the south.

CF | You suddenly notice some heavy-sounding footsteps! There's a llama
CF | patrolling the path! You quickly duck. You'll have to fight him or
CF | sneak your way past.

CF | He looks big, smashy, and evil. Although he's patrolling back and
CF | forth dutifully, he seems kind of bored.

CF | You line up your shot and throw the coconut! It arcs through the air,
CF | and he doesn't even see it before it whacks him in the head! As he
CF | collapses to the ground, you spring out from your hiding place and
CF | pick up the coconut again for good measure.

CF | This rough oval clearing is open to the sky. A hastily constructed
CF | woven hut is standing in the middle, and you can hear voices coming
CF | from inside. Palm trees ring the clearing. A path cuts into the jungle
CF | to the south, and another narrower path leads away to the northwest.

CF | You can hear some snippets of conversation from the llamas in the hut,
CF | and you have to get closer to hear.

CF | > DavidW says, "okay. I guess we continue north looking for another llama to receive a gift of coconut."

CF | You can catch faint glimpses of their conversation - like "Ponyheart"
CF | - but you'd need to get closer to hear more.

CF | You hear the humming of a motorboat in the distance, approaching
CF | rapidly.

CF ] Clearing

CF | You don't want to get lost in the jungle.

CF | The rumbling sound of the motorboat is getting louder. The sound seems
CF | to be coming from the west. Suddenly, the sound stalls and stops.

Knight_Otu says (to ClubFloyd), "go to hut"

CF | > GO TO HUT

CF | You can catch a lot more of their conversation. It's definitely three
CF | llamas who are talking in there - they seem to be talking about the
CF | heist!

CF | "What about Sir Ponyheart?" says one.
CF |
CF | "Oh, he's nothing to worry about," responds another one casually. "He
CF | never succeeds. Anyway, we're not unarmed!"
CF |
CF | "Well then," says another one, who seems to be the leader. "There's no
CF | time to lose. All we have to do is put the jewels in the case and take
CF | the rowboat to the getaway ship."
CF |
CF | There's a general murmur of agreement, and you hear the clinking of
CF | the jewels being put into a case, and then the case being shut.
CF |
CF | The door opens, and you quickly duck back into the jungle. You can see
CF | three llamas striding out of the hut, two of them carrying a large
CF | steel case! There seems to be a bad leader llama, a stinking furry
CF | llama, and a nasty little llama. As you watch them and debate what to
CF | do, suddenly you hear a rapidly-growing clip-clopping noise and Sir
CF | Ponyheart bursts in!
CF |
CF | "Quake in your boots, traitors, for swift justice has arrived!" he
CF | says. The llamas chuckle and ready kung-fu fighting stances. Sir
CF | Ponyheart reaches for his trusty blade, but then hesitates. "Ah,
CF | well," he says, "it seems I have forgotten my sword. We'll have to
CF | resort to hoofticuffs!" he says, rushing at one of the llamas!
CF |
CF | [Press any key to continue.] DavidW asks, "oh, this is randomized combat, isn't it?"

CF | He's small but wiry and tough. His fur is stringy and greasy. He's a
CF | nasty-looking guy.

CF | Ponyheart charges and tries to kick the stinking furry llama, who
CF | dances out of the way, blocking the nasty little llama from attacking;
CF | the bad leader llama charges at Ponyheart as well, and nails him with
CF | a swift punch as he stumbles back.

CF | Sir Ponyheart courageously charges to attack the nasty little llama.
CF |
CF | "Take THIS, miscreant!" calls out Ponyheart as he charges forth in a
CF | knightly fashion at the nasty little llama. He flails around but hits
CF | nothing, and the llama steps back unhurt.

Knight_Otu says (to ClubFloyd), "throw coconut at nasty"

CF | You spring out of your hiding place! There's no going back now! The
CF | stinking furry llama breaks off to fight you.

CF | You send the coconut flying through the air at the nasty little llama!
CF | The nasty little llama catches his fall.

CF | You rear up and tower over the stinking furry llama, and he backs
CF | away. You follow up the advantage and press him hard, leaving him with
CF | no time to attack.

CF | Sir Ponyheart valiantly defends himself against his two opponents,
CF | throwing his hooves back and forth with vigor, but it avails him not;
CF | the nasty little llama's attacks miss, but a llama punch from the bad
CF | leader llama gets through and Ponyheart stumbles back!

CF | Sir Ponyheart bravely turns his attention to the bad leader llama.
CF |
CF | "Fall at my hand, enemy of the peace!" narrates Ponyheart. As he does
CF | so, the llama punches at him, and Ponyheart frantically dodges
CF | backward.

CF | You feint, dodge, twist, duck, leap, spin, and then smash him with a
CF | super-hard kick! The stinking furry llama groans and staggers, stunned
CF | by your attack.

CF | The stinking furry llama charges forward at you, but you sidestep and
CF | turn the tables! He whirls around and prepares to attack you again.
CF |
CF | The nasty little llama charges forward to attack Ponyheart, who
CF | sidesteps and almost trips! Somehow, he also manages to dodge the bad
CF | leader llama, but he's pressed, off-balance, and on the defensive.
CF |
CF | Sir Ponyheart poses nobly and swipes at the bad leader llama with his
CF | hoof, missing by a mile. The llama chuckles at his incompetency.

CF | You punch the nasty little llama, then kick him, then punch him again!
CF | He almost slumps, stunned, but catches himself and puts up a defense
CF | again.

CF | You punch at the stinking furry llama, and he punches back. You battle
CF | back and forth, but neither of you can hurt the other one.

CF | Ponyheart puts up a flailing defense and several cracks ring out as he
CF | bats aside two llamas' razor-sharp hooves.

CF | Sir Ponyheart nobly charges to attack the nasty little llama.
CF |
CF | Sir Ponyheart launches a panicked assault, and manages to nail the
CF | nasty little llama even though he's not a great fighter.

CF | The nasty little llama never even sees your well-aimed karate chop
CF | before it hits his head! He falls heavily to the ground, knocked out
CF | cold.

CF | The stinking furry llama begins a huge attack, which you effortlessly
CF | dodge. As he hurtles forward, off-balance, you regain your position
CF | and brace yourself for another charge.
CF |
CF | Smacking aside Ponyheart's ineffective defense, the bad leader llama
CF | gives Ponyheart a hard punch in the front that sends him reeling.
CF |
CF | Sir Ponyheart chivalrously turns his attention to the bad leader
CF | llama.

CF | You cautiously proceed down the northwest path. It's dark and narrow

CF | come out onto another beach. A dock sticks out into the water, but
CF | only a rickety-looking old rowboat is moored there.

CF | A big pirate ship is anchored off-shore, just a few hundred yards from
CF | the beach! On its side is painted in big white letters "THE GETAWAY
CF | SHIP". You also notice a sleek-looking, sparkly, shiny red speedboat
CF | with two llamas in it, speeding up to the side of the getaway ship.
CF | Flame decorations along its side coil around swoopy cursive font that
CF | reads "Swift Justice". That explains how Ponyheart got
CF | here...

CF | The llamas pull up alongside the getaway ship and a rope ladder is
CF | thrown over the edge to them. As they climb up it, one of them
CF | casually tosses something over its shoulder. You realize that it's a
CF | stick of dynamite! There's an explosion and Sir Ponyheart's boat
CF | shatters and sinks. The llamas chuckle as they climb onto the deck and
CF | raise the anchor. You narrow your eyes and take off, speeding through
CF | the air after them and leaving a rainbow trail behind you...

CF | loads a gun and takes aim at you. You alight on the deck, adopting a

CF | main mast rises majestically above you, and blue tropical waters
CF | surround you on both sides. You can ascend a rope ladder to the main

CF | from you on the deck, and another with an eyepatch and a switchblade
CF | is standing on the poop deck. The helmsman is on the forecastle, and
CF | the llama with the gun is quickly moving away from you on the deck.
CF | Far up in the crow's nest, a watchman llama with a spyglass is gazing
CF | down on you.
